Some of us were only kids when the first edition of Tomb Raider was released for PSX, PC and Sega Saturn. This is a journey back to our childhood with the new handheld version of Tomb Raider I. This classic game is available to download for iOS and Android mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.
The player will follow the story of Lara Croft, a young archeologist that accepts a request from Jacqueline Natla, an important businesswoman in search of the ancient mysterious artifact Scion
Although the first apparition of Lara Croft’s series on handheld systems was in 2003 in digital download format for the Nokia N-Gage platform, this new version enhances the original edition providing a fluid gameplay. Since this app is a port of the original title, the story plot runs the same line. The player will follow the story of Lara Croft, a young archeologist that accepts a request from Jacqueline Natla, an important businesswoman in search of the ancient mysterious artifact Scion.
The game looks almost exactly like the original version released almost 20 years ago. In general terms, the game hasn't aged as well as we would expect, and Square-Enix has not worked hard on the update of the visual aspect. The optimization of the title for average mobile devices has been arranged well enough to run the game smoothly on low-tier devices.

Exploration and gameplay
For those that have played Tomb Raider I previously, the game won’t be a real surprise, but for those newcomers, the fact that you get to fight against a T-Rex or Atlantean centaurs may be strange the first time. This is a little hint about the mythical component that you will find during the app, especially in archeological scenarios.
The gameplay has been adapted to touch screens, trying to make the best of this kind of interface. Aside from the classic digital pad, there are different actions such as interaction with objects and climbing, jump, roll and gun draw. However, if you find this kind of game scheme control unfit for you, the game is compatible with MOGA PRO POWER and MOGA HERO POWER external controllers.
Since you will fight against lethal predators, it is better to get used to the game controls, especially to the gunplay and the free exploration mechanics. Get into the darkest mysteries ever unveiled discovering the terrifying truth behind the unearth experience in the full chapters, including two additional chapters that weren’t available in the original edition.
