Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a first-person shooter videogame that has been developed by SledgeHammer Games. It has been published by Activision. It is the 11th release of this game series, and it is the first time that SledgeHammer Games has produced a game for the saga. Treyarch and Infinity Ward, each one with their own series such as Modern Warfare or Black Ops, developed the previous installments. Now, a new series is born and this company will be in charge of three years of development.
Advanced Warfare will be focused on the future, showing to the players the battlefields in which the strategy and technology of the franchise have evolved to give way to a new style of war and combat in the saga. This release is developed for several platforms, including the most-expected ones such as new generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and for PC. However, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 the developer is High Moon Studios rather than SledgeHammer Games.
Regarding plot, the events of this release take place in the near-future year 2054, in which almost no country has an appropriate military infrastructure. This happened because the most-developed countries have suffered supermassive attacks on their structures. Now, for lots of nations, the predominant armed forces are private businesses called Private Military Corporations. The most powerful one, Atlas, is owned by Jonathan Irons (voiced by the award-winning actor Kevin Spacey), and it works for the highest bidder. However, Irons is sick of the ineffectiveness of the United States as a superpower to foster democracy to other countries and he starts a war with all its armory and armies. Nevertheless, the real protagonist of this installment is Jack Mitchell (voiced by Troy Barker), a U.S. Marine who works for Atlas and who doesn't agree at all with the ideas of his boss.
Ideas don’t determine who’s right…
In regards to gameplay, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare introduces new essential elements. The most noticeable one is the biomechanics of the exoskeleton. Exoskeletons are a kind of suit that the player can equip themselves with and that changes the style of the combat: soldiers are more lethal now. The changes in the mechanics are evident; the movement is quite a lot better since player can jump higher, climb walls, and improve the strength, the speed, and the resistance. In addition, these powerful suits include camouflage abilities that are very useful when it comes to playing stealth missions.

Another great new feature of Advanced Warfare is the insertion of futuristic arsenal and weaponry. The advanced technology of the all-new weapons allows the player to try new combat styles in which the ammo is not the classic one anymore, energy is the new ammo. Hi-tech energetic weapons offer new mechanics and a wide variety of situations in which the player can use their abilities, such as shooting an energetic pulse that deactivates drones and helicopters. New futuristic vehicles are also included in this release. They are integrated with the campaign gameplay. The player will be able to control and drive flying motorcycles, specialized drones, hoverbikes and lots of incredible vehicles such as the noticeable floating tank.
Apart from the gameplay, the biggest novelty of this last game of the saga is the absolutely amazing graphics. Developers have used all the power of the next-gen graphic engines of the new consoles. Once you download the game, you will be free to appreciate every detail of the futuristic environments where the game takes places. In addition, the information of the game (ammunition, perks, etc.) is displayed in a different way that much more organic, with holographic screens.

Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare: Amazing Story line and missions

As with previews Call Of Duty games, they tend to put a really great story line to keep the players thrilled while playing the game. The story starts with the main character that got injured in battle which caused him to lose his arm, what a great twist to put in the game which immediately gave conflict to the story, with the main character having to battle with his disability and having to stay in battle. He then gets the opportunity to be with a private army.
The story is set in the non distant future which the soldiers are given exo suits which allows them to use their "exo-skeletons" to jump high, do incredible maneuvers, and other things unable to be done with the average human. The weapons are really great, with them not being a lot different from current weapons, but still has a variety of different upgrades and add-ons. Overall, the story is really great and is worth playing
- Great weapon variety and add-ons
- Great storyline and the flow of the story is great
- Nice conflicts that revolves around the main character
- Nice selection of maps and sceneries
- Story line is not that long
- lack of upgrade points for the character

Call of Duty saga is renowned for recreating warfare in full detail, without even curbing extreme violence and bloodshed. Advanced Warfare is the latest title added to this family by Activision, which took all these to a bit higher level. The game takes place in the upcoming 50s, say our future.
The game perfectly illustrates the situation where each country has enough armor to burn the earth more than 10 times. In the game, military is owned by private firms called Private Military Corporations, who are not bounded by any law or restrictions. You are John Mitchell, one of the golden pieces of such a Military Corporation. Energy becomes the new weapon, which can unleash massive explosions compared to today’s bullets and shells. You are provided with an exoskeleton also, which can act as both camouflage and sheath simultaneously. Talking about the graphics, the game is incredibly life-like.
If you are looking for a better First-Person shooter game now, jump to COD Advanced Warfare now. It can provide everything you want at a level ahead of your expectations. A true gamer must try this game!
- Incredible graphics and good sounds
